Join us at Octavia's Bookshelf in Pasadena to explore the legacy of novelist Octavia Butler! Delve into her life and works as we explore her ties to east Pasadena, where she was born and raised. Owner Nikki High will lead the discussion, offering insights into Butler's remarkable journey and the creation of Pasadena’s only Black-owned bookstore.
After our time at Octavia's, let's continue our literary adventure with a leisurely stroll next door to Millie's. Don't miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of Octavia Butler and discover the charm of Pasadena's literary scene!
