Late risers is a new walking group for those of us who just can’t get out earlier in the morning. We will take a walk led by one of our members and afterward stop for lunch. Walks will be 2-3 miles long.
Meet at the recreation center parking lot.
We will meet near the recreation center entrance off the Victory Park parking lot on Paloma St. The flat walk through northeast Pasadena is on quiet, tree lined residential streets. We will walk west on Cooley Pl. and Casa Grande St. and back east on Brigden Rd. which has lots of beautiful old oak trees. It will be about 2.8 miles round trip.
Stop for snacks will be at Old Sasoon Bakery, 1132 Allen Ave, which has offered delicious Armenian and middle eastern treats since 1986.
