Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with 2,000 chapters in 60+ countries. There's no assigned reading. Bring your own books (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or essays). More than a million members around the world gather in person and online to read together. For many with busy schedules, it is a space where we can reconnect with the joy of reading.
Members arrive and introduce themselves. Get coffee, tea or water before the group settles. And then read independently for an hour. After the hour, attendees can leave immediately or stay to discuss what they are reading and swap thoughts and feelings. Or discuss whatever topic comes up related to our reading.
