Rectification of Past injustice
By Blog Master · Posted 02/28/2021
A recent article describes the rectification of past injustices from 121 years ago. It would be an interesting discussion to consider what is the value today of taking this kind of action to deal with things form long ago done by other people. There are many other examples around us of this being done, and many more examples of places where it would be appropriate. Feel free to contribute your own examples to the discussion.
On another topic, I would welcome some assistance in managing this blog and am asking if anyone who is participating in the discussion would like to join with me to keep the discussion active and relevant.
Also, we have established a list of references for materials that have been submitted for discussion for some time now, but that list has become unwieldy because of the huge volume of material that I received. I will keep that list available, but have also initiated a new list beginning in late February that is designed to be cleaner and simpler and much easier to maintain. That new list is available here as 1619 Project Discussion References. Keeping this list current is a part of the management of the discussion group that I really need help with and would be happy to have someone volunteer to do only that as their contribution. This chore should be relatively simple, but does require frequent maintenance.
