The 3:00 AM Trip to the Bathroom

The 3:00AM...Trip to the bathroom.

It's close to 3:00 A.M.  The house is dark.  The bathroom feels a mile away.  You shuffle down the hallway, trying to find your way before your bladder makes the decision for you.  In a dark hallway, one wrong step could send you falling before you reach the bathroom.

You made it to the bathroom--but you're wearing socks.  Unless you're Tom Cruise sliding across the floor in Risky Business, socks and hard surfaces are no laughing matter. One quick slide could end in a serious fall.

Now. let's make that nightly journey safer.  Instead of searching for a light switch in the dark, let the house do the work for you.  Motion -sensors lights placed along the path from your bed to the bathroom quietly illuminated the way as you walk.  No fumbling for switches.  No blinding overhead lights.  Just enough light to guide you safely--and back again.

Do you have concerns about the nighttime path from your bed to your bathroom?  Send me a photo of your hallway or bathroom and tell me what worries you.  I'll be happy to share a few ideas for making it safer while keeping it attractive.
