A Message From Your Newly Elected President

I’m pleased to begin this year with an energized Board of Directors who are guided by our mission and values. As I read this Annual Report, I recognize more than ever the privilege of serving in a leadership role. We are fortunate to be serving at a time when positivity is high, and Villagers are enjoying the benefits of caring support from each other.

We have experienced a truly wonderful year in the Village, as this Annual Report demonstrates. This was achieved through a deep commitment from Villagers, staff, community volunteers and our Board of Directors. We owe so much to those whose term as a Board Director has ended this year… they helped make this year a success.

As we age, we find ourselves sometimes seeking connections with others who have some understanding of our life experience. Looking at the astonishing number of educational, cultural, and supportive programs speaks volumes about our diversity and inclusivity. We are fortunate, indeed, to be part of this growing community.  I’m grateful for the service of others who make my life more meaningful.

Along with you, I’m looking forward to the familiar and the unexpected opportunities of this coming year.
