Outpouring of Support...
We continue to receive heartfelt offers of support and assistance not only from fellow Villagers, but from individuals and organizations across the United States. In addition to the relief funds raised from individuals and the Pasadena Community Foundation, we have just received notice of two unrestricted general operating grants.
The Annenberg Foundation has awarded Pasadena Village a grant of $25,000 and from the California Community Foundation a grant of $100,000!
Both were issued in recognition of our organization’s relief efforts. Our Grants Officer at the Annenberg Foundation said:
Your organization’s efforts to support older adults through check-ins, resource coordination, and mutual aid are truly commendable.
The care you are providing—whether through assisting displaced members, offering gift cards, or enhancing scam prevention programs—demonstrates the deep commitment Pasadena Village has to its community. Seeing the resilience and compassion your team brings to this vital work is inspiring.
