Supporting fire-impacted communities is powerful work, but it can also be emotionally exhausting. This practical, trauma-informed session is designed for case workers, nonprofit staff, and volunteers with minimal mental health training.
You’ll learn how to spot signs of burnout in yourself, recognize when someone you're helping may need professional support, and walk away with simple tools to manage stress, honor your boundaries, and sustain your compassion—without burning out. The presenter is Stacie Yeldell, mental health consultant with Project HOPE. Free and open to all. Register to receive the Zoom link.
Alternatively, you are welcome to join others in person to watch the presentation live at the Village Office at 236 W Mountain St, #113, Pasadena, CA 91103. Please indicate when you register if you plan to attend in person.
