Dear Pasadena Village Members and Friends,

I am excited to introduce myself to you and look forward to getting to know you, or reacquaint myself with you in this role, in the coming months. I am Katie Brandon, the new Executive Director of Pasadena Village. I am so fortunate to follow in Peggy’s footsteps and help further the Village in its second decade of existence. The community and the Members that I have gotten to know already are so vibrant and multifaceted. I look forward to applying my skills, experience, and leadership to enhance what all of you have already built together over the past 10 years.

I have worked in nonprofit management for nearly 15 years, most recently as Development Manager at the Los Angeles Arboretum Foundation where I managed foundation relations, the annual fundraising Gala, and corporate and community partnerships. Prior to joining the Arboretum, I was Assistant Director at Pasadena Museum of History where I managed the development, operations, volunteers, and earned income activities. During that time, I was able to forge many amazing relationships throughout the greater Pasadena community.

With your support, we will prioritize increasing the visibility of Pasadena Village, attracting and welcoming new members, and strengthening our funding relationships. The Board and committees have already laid the groundwork for many partnerships and a focus in the coming months will be to enhance these and add new collaborations throughout our greater Pasadena community.

In order to further Pasadena Village’s growth, I look to you, our members and supporters, to continue to share your stories and experiences of our intentional community so others can learn about this way of living. Together, we will build on Pasadena Village’s mission to foster vital independent living in a spirit of mutual support, enrichment, and inclusiveness.

Please know I am always a phone call or email away.

Best Wishes,

Katie Brandon
