Creative Juices Flow in The Village
By Richard MyersPosted: 11/19/2024
Feeling Creative? "Meandering" is the outlet for the creativity in the Village. If you have created something that you would be willing to share, this is our place for you. We welcome materials from all our Villagers. This site is perfect for short stories, essays, selections from your memoirs, or poetry. We can also accommodate images, so if you create artwork that you could photograph we can share that here as well.
Some of our Villagers have made significant contributions and their work is available for you to view. Ed Rinderle is a good example with a number of interesting stories that he has contributed. Click here to see the Ed Rinderle Collected Works.
Images can be handled but the procedure would be to save the images online where they are accessible and then link to the images for display rather than putting them directly into the post. This approach would allow a reader to read your comments about the work while viewing it in a separate window on the screen. Short videos can be handled this way as well and if the video is suitable, we might feature that on our YouTube channel as well.
This site makes your creativity accessible to the world and the work put up here demonstrates the vitality that we have in the Pasadena Village. The work should not be too long. Written pieces are good up to 500 words and unusual pieces might go up to 900 words, but the work should generally stay below that number.
If you have something to share, submit it to us via [email protected]. If you have questions about something you would like to contribute, email Dick Myers at [email protected].
